How does the 'Fleet' section work?
Updated over 2 months ago

The 'Fleet' section serves as a central hub for adding and viewing information and technical data (collected from the devices installed on them) for all the vehicles and units in your fleet, presented in the form of a table.

While this section is most commonly used for vehicles, you have the flexibility to view any type of units added to our system. You can find it in Fleet management ➡ Fleet.

✅ Remember that the word "unit" includes all types of valued assets in our system. Units don't necessarily need to be vehicles, they can be some other type of assets like machinery or containers.

Features

Quick access to key data

On top of the table you will find some blocks with important data about your fleet.

View all data on the table

It's main feature is the vehicle/units table which is completely customizable to show which information and technical data received from their installed devices you want to see with the possibility of using filters, searching and sorting them.

Vehicle profile & Vehicle settings

You can directly access the vehicle/unit settings, to edit their information.

Or quickly access their profile to see more detailed information about each specific unit.

Create custom fields

You can create Custom fields to add custom parameters that are not included by default but are crucial for tracking your fleet. The data for these custom parameters can be added individually for each vehicle and they can be these different types:

  • Text

  • Date

  • File

  • Web link

  • Image

Show historical data

You can use the Visibility in reports feature to manage which vehicles' data is displayed for you in the platform. This feature lets you show or hide data from vehicles/units that had a tracking device installed but no longer have it.

Works well with

The Fleet section works together with other sections in the Fleet management module like: Fleet expenses, Fleet capabilities, Fleet efficiency, Repair costs, Documents and licenses, Vehicle inspections; And other vehicle related sections like Vehicle Groups and Depots.

You may find the information added in the Fleet section will show up in other of our solutions and information added from other solutions could also appear here, like fuel data or BLE data.
