How to create or edit drivers and employees

✅ An Employee using any solution with the Mapon Driver app is defined as a Driver in the Mapon platform.

Add a driver

To create a new driver profile in our system:

  1. Go to Driver management → Drivers.
    ​

  2. Click on the ADD NEW DRIVER button on the top right corner.
    ​

  3. Enter all the necessary driver's information. We recommend:
    ​

    • If you are using the Tachograph solution or authorization chips, ensure their IDs are entered in Tachograph card ID and iButton ID.
      ​

    • If your driver will use the Mapon Driver app or the reports in the platform, make sure to create a user for them in the User account tab.
      ​

    • Add information to your custom fields, if you have created any.
      ​

    • Select the vehicles your driver will have access to.
      ​

  4. Click SAVE to create the driver.
    ​

Edit a driver

To change or add the information of a driver:

  1. Go to Driver management → Drivers.
    ​

  2. On the list of drivers, click on the Edit button on the right side.
    ​

  3. Change or add the information you need.
    ​

  4. Click the SAVE button.
