If an employee is both a platform user and a driver in your company, and they need access to the Mapon Driver mobile app, you should consider linking the driver profile with the user account. This way, the same email address and password can be used for both roles.
Go to
Driver management ➡ Drivers.
Click the Edit button next to the relevant driver to open their settings.
To link a driver to a user:
Go to the 'User account' tab.
Mark the checkbox labeled 'Link to user'.
Select the user from the dropdown list (if the user doesn't exist yet, create the user first).
To unlink a driver from a user:
Go to the 'User account' tab.
Uncheck the 'Link to user' box.
Click the SAVE button.
📘 After driver and user profiles are linked all rights are user based, including accessible vehicles.
🔔 If the link is removed, the driver will retain access to all vehicles the user had access to.
