Does changing time-based inspection plan affect the timer?
Updated this week

If changes are made to a time-based inspection plan, it may affect the timer as follows:

  1. Adding points and vehicles: If new inspection points or vehicles are added, the timer is not reset and continues counting from the original date.

  2. Changing frequency: If the inspection frequency is changed, it adjusts the schedule, but the timer is not reset. Inspections will be generated based on the plan’s creation date.

  3. Switching from mileage/engine hours to time: If the generation criteria are changed from mileage or engine hours to time, the timer is reset and starts counting from the date the changes were made.

So, the timer only changes if the inspection frequency criteria are switched from mileage/engine hours to time.
