In the Vehicle Inspections solution, drivers or field workers use the Mapon Go app to complete inspection plans for vehicles. If something doesn’t pass inspection, they can add a note about what went wrong, and it will be marked as 'damages'.

In the Repair Costs solution, managers can track and manage all repair expenses. Here we also give you the option to link these repair costs directly to the damages found during vehicle inspections, making it easier to manage both repairs and expenses in one place.

Add damages to a cost entry

To add damages from vehicle inspections to a repair costs entry:

  1. On the Repair Costs section, press the plus icon on an entry.

  2. You will see a window where you can see and search the damages registered from Vehicle inspections. Press the plus icon to select a 'damage', you can select more than one.

  3. You will see the 'damages' you've selected on the bottom part of the window. If you're done selecting them all, click SAVE.

How to view the linked damages

In the Repair costs list, you will be able to see the damages as "# item(s)", on the Damages column, click on this to view all damages related to an repair cost entry.

Click on the damage ID to view more details about it.

✅ You may also click on the Inspection ID to view the whole inspection.
