This article offers full assistance in setting up your KRONE integration on both Mapon and KRONE Telematics Portal. By having this integration in place, you can improve the efficiency and performance of your operations.
Set up KRONE integration
In the main menu on the left go to Settings > Integrations.
Find and click on the integration tab KRONE integration.
Click the ACTIVATE INTEGRATION button on our platform.
Contact your trailer manufacturer and confirm the fees for using KRONE Telematics.
You will see the URL and Authorization key, which will be required in the following steps.
Log in to your KRONE Telematics Portal account and navigate to DATACENTER menu.
In the menu.provider section, add a new External Provider.
Enter the required External Provider credentials, which can be found on our platform, as described in Step 5:
Name: Choose a name for the provider (e.g. Mapon).
Username: Use the authorization key displayed on our platform (refer to Step 5).
Password and Confirm Password: Re-enter the same authorization key.
URL: Use the URL displayed on our platform (refer to Step 5).
After entering the information, click Save.
After the External Provider is created, go to the Sharings External section and add a new data sharing configuration:
Select the External Provider account you created.
Choose the vehicles you want to display on Mapon.
Click Save.
Wait for trailers to appear on our platform, which may take some time as data is updated from TrailerConnect.
🔔 Keep in mind! For moving trailers, data updates every 1 to 15 minutes; for stationary trailers, data updates every 1 to 24 hours.
Manage Trailers You Need to See on Mapon
After completing the previous steps, your trailers will appear in the table on the platform.
Click the ACTIVATE button next to the trailer you want to view on Mapon. This will create a new unit and add it to a subscription pack, which will increase your monthly fee.
Once activated, we will start collecting data, and the trailers will be visible on the Online Map and in other relevant sections of the platform.
✅ To activate multiple trailers, check the boxes next to each trailer or select the top checkbox to mark all, then click ACTIVATE.
📘 To deactivate a trailer, click the DEACTIVATE button in the table. You can also deactivate multiple trailers by using the checkboxes to select several rows or by selecting the top checkbox to mark all, then clicking DEACTIVATE.
