What is 'Camera Settings' for?
Updated over a month ago

The Camera settings section works as the main hub for all your camera devices, camera integrations and the audit log of your user's actions on our camera solutions. You can find it in Cameras ➡ Camera settings.

Features

View all your camera devices

On the Overview tab, you'll find a list with all the camera devices that have been added to our platform. Here you can easily update their settings and check the last time any changes were made. Keeping your devices organized here ensures smooth monitoring and quick access whenever you need it.

See your user's actions

In the Audit Log tab, you can view all actions your users have taken within the camera solutions, such as playing, saving, or deleting videos, as well as any edits made to the camera settings. This helps you keep track of activity and stay informed about any changes.

View any existing warnings

Here, you can also view any warnings that alert you to potential issues with your cameras, ensuring you’re always informed if something needs your attention. This helps you address problems quickly, keeping your monitoring system running smoothly.

Link cameras to your vehicles

You can assign each camera device to a specific vehicle, ensuring that all footage is organized by vehicle. This setup makes it easier to track how, when, and where events happened, along with the circumstances surrounding them.

Choose and name camera channels

Here, you can also choose which channels you want to display and add a custom name for each one. This is helpful for identifying the camera's viewpoint, such as "left side of the vehicle," "right side," "rear view," or "interior."

Make configuration changes remotely

Some camera brands will allow you to change your camera device's configuration remotely. To keep track of all the changes made to a camera device's configuration, use the "Settings update history" tab to see a complete log with a status that will let you know if the configuration change was applied yet.

Works well with...

The Camera settings section is primarily used to add and manage your camera devices, which are used in our camera solutions: Camera Memory Card, Camera Events and Livestream.
