While drivers can create bookings using the Driver app to reserve the vehicle they want to use, managers can also create bookings directly from our web platform. Here you will learn how to create them, edit them and even how to remove them.
Create a booking from the web platform
To create a booking to reserve a vehicle:
Go to Carsharing from the left side menu.
Click NEW BOOKING in the top right corner to create a new reservation.
Select the start and end dates and times for your booking.
Choose a driver from the dropdown list.
Select a starting depot and, optionally, add up to 10 stops for the trip.
📘 If the route duration is longer than the booking time, a warning will appear, and adjustments are needed to proceed.
Select vehicle type, transmission and number of seats to find the most suitable vehicle for the driver.
📘 To use these filters, this data needs to be added in the vehicle's settings.
Add notes if needed, then click NEXT.
You will see a list of vehicles based on your selected options, select the vehicle you would like and click NEXT.
Review all the details for this booking, click BACK if there is something wrong. Click SUBMIT to confirm and create reservation.
🔔 Bookings cannot be made for past dates and cannot exceed one year in duration.
Edit a booking from the web platform
🔔 Bookings can only be edited before their start time.
Go to Carsharing from the left side menu.
You can edit a booking in two ways:
Make changes to the booking details.
Click SAVE to apply the changes.
Delete a booking from the web platform
To cancel or remove a booking:
Go to Carsharing from the left side menu.
You can remove a booking from two parts:
A pop-up window will appear where you can add the reason for deleting this booking.
Click the TRIP CANCELLATION button at the bottom to finalize the cancellation.
Afterwards, you will be able to read the reason and timestamp for the cancellation from the list of bookings, directly from the Status column when hovering the cursor over the icon.
