Asset tags are small wireless BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices for positioning and asset tracking. They give you accurate location data, use battery power efficiently, and are a cost-effective way to keep track of your assets.

In the Asset tags section, you can manage all your tags in one place. Assign each tag to an asset to make it available for tracking.

To open the section, go to Settings ➡ Asset tags.

Activate your asset tags on our platform to easily track and manage them all in one place! You'll see key details for each device, like the last scanned location, scan time, tracking status, and linked asset.

Quickly check whether each tag has already been assigned to an asset. Devices marked as Not assigned still need to be linked before they can be used, making it easy to spot and assign any devices that still require setup.

Link your tag to an asset so it can be used together with your tracking device and other Mapon solutions. Assigning the device also makes it easier to identify and manage, as you can see which asset it belongs to at any time.

Go to the 'Scanned' tab to view all scanning events of asset tags that were scanned by company vehicles.

With this report you can view all data that was collected from these asset tags, like RSSI level, battery voltage, humidity, temperature, last location with the ability to click on this location and see it on the map without leaving this report page.

Once a tag is assigned to an asset, the asset shows up on the Online map just like your vehicles - with its last known location and when it was last seen. You don’t need to turn anything on. Filter or search the unit list on the map the same way you do for vehicles.

Besides viewing your asset tags on our Online Map solution, you are also able to get location data from your asset, making it possible to use the data along with a lot of other of our solutions like Alerts, Reports, etc.
