When you create a "New unit" from the Asset management section, you can immediately link it to one of your Asset tags, right from the creation window.
Linking an asset tag to a unit will allow you to use this unit in multiple of our solutions like Online Map, Alerts, Reports and more!
🔔 You can only link Asset tags to units that were created from Asset management, using the type "New unit".
🔔 Mobile tracking and stationary units can not be connected to an Asset tag.
Link an asset tag
To link an Asset tag:
Go to
Billing & Assets ➡ Asset Management.
Click the ADD NEW UNIT button on the top right corner.
On New unit, select ADD UNIT.
Add information about the unit. (If the unit type is left as Default, then the unit will be registered with the type Vehicle.)
Select an asset tag to link to this unit. You will be able to see if they are:
Available or
Linked to another unit.
Click the SAVE button.
Unlink
To remove the connection with the asset tag right away click on Unlink asset tag before clicking SAVE.
To remove it later on, go to the 
Settings ➡ Asset tags section.
