What are some uses for BLE devices?

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices are a type of wireless technology designed for minimal power consumption and cost efficiency, allowing them to operate for years on small batteries.

Additionally, BLE’s low cost and low energy requirements enable easy, large-scale deployments, making it ideal for applications like asset tracking and temperature monitoring for sectors like retail and shipping.

See the location of your valuables

  • Construction - See where your specialized tools, fundamental assets, and expensive equipment is left. You can attach BLE devices to the most valuable assets to see location history and track where assets were seen for the last time.

  • Transportation and logistics

    • Track location of shipping containers. If one driver leaves a container at the port, and another driver needs to pick it up, with a BLE tag, it will be a lot easier to locate where exactly, in the huge port terminal, the container was left.

    • Insert a BLE device in a folder, where valuable documents are stored, such as payment cards and permissions, to see if the document folder is at the place where it's supposed to be.

  • Agriculture - If some agriculture machine was left in the field at the end of a season, then in the next season when you need to check where it was left. With a BLE tab on them, you can easily find their location using our BLE solution.

  • Waste management - You can add BLE devices to waste containers, to see the locations where they were left. This would be specially useful for companies that manage waste containers to check how many are left at the company's base/depot and know how many are currently available.

Temperature monitoring

  • Transportation - Check the temperature of items that are frozen to see if the temperature is not above or below the allowed range.

  • Pharmacy - When delivering organs or medicines that need specific temperature you can insert a BLE device in a box, where valuables are being transported, to check if the temperature stayed in the required range the whole time.
