Can I flip or rotate the video of my camera?

Updated today

Yes, some camera brands allow you to flip the video feed vertically, horizontally, or both simultaneously — especially useful when cameras are installed in unconventional positions like upside-down on a windshield, sideways on a pillar, or overhead on the cabin ceiling.

Some other camera brands may offer the option to rotate by 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°, giving you full control over the image orientation to match your desired view.

🔔 Flipping the camera video feed is supported for Quecklink and Howen, while Concox supports the video feed's rotation on their cameras.
The flipping and rotation options may also differ by model.

If your system uses multiple camera channels (e.g., front, rear, or side cameras), you can adjust the flip and rotation settings for each channel individually.

To remotely change this setting:

  1. Go to Cameras ➜ Camera settings.

  2. In the Overview tab, find the camera that you need.

  3. Click the edit pencil icon on the right side.

  4. Go to the Camera settings tab and find the Camera rotation setting.

  5. Select the orientation option that you need for each of your channels.

  6. Click Update at the bottom of the window.

This ensures that each video feed is displayed correctly based on the camera’s mounting position.
