How to create a Task

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can create a new task in the Task Management solution in three ways — from the main vehicle list, from the vehicle’s routes and tasks overview, or directly within a planned or drafted route.

From the main vehicle list

📘 This option is available only for vehicles without an active route or those finishing their last task.

To create a task from the main vehicle list:

  1. Go to Online Map → Tasks.

  2. Find the vehicle (use group filters or scroll the list).

  3. Click the + Plan a task button on the vehicle card.

  4. In the Task creation form on the Map, switch the vehicle if needed, or proceed with the chosen one.

  5. Enter the task address.

  6. Assign the task to a route:

    • Assigned to route – to add it to a specific planned route.

    • Drafts – to keep it as an unplanned task.

  7. Choose a task type: Loading, Unloading, Fuelling, Driver change, Trailer change, Hook off trailer, Hook on trailer, Resting, Ferry, Train, Border crossing.

  8. Select the date and due time.

  9. (Optional) Add driver instructions, select a client, choose a trailer for truck, or enter an Order ID.

  10. Click Save to create the task.
