When viewing a planned route with tasks in progress in the Task and route planning solution, the platform shows the full route on the map with all task locations and their route segments.
Each part of the route segment is colour-coded to reflect the status of the tasks and the progress along the planned route.
Select route to view colors
After selecting your vehicle, click on the route to display it on the map.
Colors
You may see some colors on the map, representing the route and the statuses or progress of the segments of that route.
⬜ Grey: route segments that have been completed.
🟩 Green: route segment currently in progress.
🟨Yellow: this dashed line, shows the actual path taken by the vehicle (which updates in real time), more information below.
🟦 Blue: remaining route segments that have not been completed yet.
Actual route taken
The yellow dashed line shows the actual route taken by the vehicle, updating in real time and extending as it moves.
It indicates the direction of movement and highlights any deviations from the planned route, making it easy to track progress at a glance.
This visibility helps dispatchers and managers quickly spot issues and make informed decisions during daily operations.
While the "actual route" line updates in real time, this line can also be seen from the "History" tab once the route is finished.
