On our "Switzerland heavy vehicle charge" integration, you will also be able to see if we have detected inconsistencies in GPS or trailer connection data that might indicate possible issues with your declaration data. This will help ensure that the information sent to the Swiss authority (FOCBS) is accurate.
You can easily see if we have detected any possible issues directly from the "Declarations overview" tab. These will be days marked with a light red color background.
Click them to open a more detailed view where you can review them and choose to either "fix' or "dismiss" these issues.
Types of possible issues
🛰️ GPS Jumps
Triggered when the system detects unexpected GPS movement inconsistencies. It shows the declared GPS distance compared to the actual CAN distance (if available). A large difference may indicate signal loss or missing data.
🚛 Trailer Connection Events
Appears when five or more trailer connection changes occur in one day. This threshold helps identify potentially inconsistent trailer connection data. If, after review, the number of events seems reasonable, the alert can be dismissed.
Best Practices
Regularly check the "Declaration overview" grid for possible issues.
Prioritize GPS jumps and multiple trailer connection events for review.
Use Fix whenever possible to maintain data quality and compliance.
Dismiss only when the possible issue is clearly not significant.
If wish to edit multiple data at the same time, or do a different correction type, use our feature for manual corrections.
