Why is this necessary now and what has changed in the existing system?
The current levy collection system (LSVA II) is reaching the end of its life. It is being replaced by a modern digital solution (LSVA III). Now vehicle owners will have several options to choose from - one of them our system.
What should I do if I’ve used another service provider before (e.g., Natras)?
First, please unregister the vehicle from your previous service provider. Then, register it through our service. This step is necessary to avoid sending duplicate data to FOCBS.
Which tracking devices are approved?
Devices to be officially approved by FOCBS procedure:
Mapon Expert 1
Mapon Expert 2
FMC130
FMC880
FMC650
Who needs to pay tolls in Switzerland?
Vehicles and trailers that:
Have a total weight of more than 3,5 tons
Are used for the carriage of goods
Are licensed in Switzerland (and abroad), and drive on Switzerland’s public roads network.
How is the toll calculated?
Calculation formula
Vehicle total weight x emission class x kilometers driven (in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein).
How can I add trailer information the system?
Trailer Auto-connect: This solution helps our system identify and link (connect) together a truck and trailer traveling together on our platform automatically, when certain conditions are met.
Every two minutes or less, the system will compare the truck and trailer positions in the map.
The distance between the truck and trailer routes must not exceed 30m.
When driving, the direction difference must not exceed 45 degrees (to avoid accidentally connecting with a truck passing-by, going in a different direction).
There must be only 1 trailer and no other trucks nearby.
Both devices (in the truck and trailer) must be traveling at least 20+ km/h for 1 minute.

Manually adding it through the Online Map section:
Managers can manually assign a trailer to a specific truck directly from the Online Map section. To do this, simply select the vehicle from the side data panel, then click on “Add trailer” to enter the trailer information.
Using a BLE tag on your trailers:
By attaching a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) device to your trailers, you can automatically link trailer data to our tracking system. This allows you to easily see which truck was connected to which trailer, helping you monitor trailer usage and movement accurately.
What could cause "GPS jumps"?
"GPS jumps" is triggered when our system detects that there is inconsistencies in GPS movement. This can show the difference between GPS distance and CAN distance (if available). A large difference may indicate signal loss or missing data.
One of the possible causes of numerous jumps or jumps with a large distance, could be that the GPS tracking device has been set up incorrectly, causing a weak signal and hence cause errors in gps data.
