If you don’t want your cameras to detect or record any events, you can disable all camera events at any time.
This can be useful if you are testing the system, adjusting settings, or simply don’t need event detection for a period of time. In this article, we’ll show you where to find the camera settings and how to turn all camera events off.
Disable events
Go to
Cameras -> Camera settings.
Look for the camera device you need.
Click the pencil icon
on the "Edit settings" column.
Go to the "Camera safety" tab.
Under the "Turn off camera events" section, enable
the toggle button.
Click the "Update" button below.
This will disable – or turn off – all camera events.
Enable events
To turn on or enable camera events again, follow the same steps as above, but instead, disable the toggle button so that it is
greyed-out .
