How to use 'User presets' for access rights management
Updated over a week ago

📘 User Management is available to existing users with administrator or unlimited access rights.

Presets make it easy to assign the same access rights to multiple users at once, ensuring consistency and reducing the chance of errors. Instead of manually selecting permissions for each user, you can apply a preset in just a few clicks, saving time and making the process more efficient.

Create a user preset

📘 The process of creating a new preset is similar to choosing access rights for users with limited access. The same sections and settings will be available for selection.

To create user preset:

  1. Go to Settings → Users.

  2. Click MANAGE USER PRESETS in the top right.

  3. Click on CREATE NEW.

  4. Name the preset and click NEXT.

  5. Use the checkboxes to select modules, vehicles, drivers, permissions, etc., clicking NEXT after each step.

  6. Review the summary, edit if needed, and click SAVE to finish.

Apply user presets

✅ You can also apply a user preset while creating a new user.

To use a preset on your existing users:

  1. Go to Settings → Users.

  2. Find the user you want to apply a user preset to.

  3. Click Edit on the right side of the list.

  4. In the pop-up window, go to the Access rights tab.

  5. Select By preset, and choose the preset from the dropdown.

  6. Click the SAVE button.

📘 The preset can be deleted any time under MANAGE USER PRESETS, by pressing on the delete button represented by a bin icon.

Access rights applied from a preset won't disappear after deleting the preset. The rights applied to each user will remain but they will appear as 'Custom'.
