Why do I get the 'This email is already registered' error?

If you see an error message in red that says that "this email is already registered", it means that this email is already registered for another profile (including other Mapon client accounts). If this user should have both accounts, you will need to use a different email for this user within your company.

If this is user is also a driver in your company, and they have access to the Mapon Driver mobile app, registered with the same email address, consider linking the user profile to the driver profile. Otherwise, you will still need to use a unique email address for the user profile.

🚨 Each email address can be associated with only one user or driver account.

If none of the above applies to your situation, it is also possible that this email address is associated with a user profile of a company that no longer uses Mapon's services or whose account was closed for technical reasons (change of company details, consolidation of several accounts into one, etc.).

In this case, if you are authorized to manage users you can contact Mapon Client Support and request to delete the old inactive profile account. Once the inactive account is deleted, you will be able to create a user with this email for your company.
