What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Updated this week

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security that helps protect user's online accounts. Instead of relying solely on a password, 2FA requires a second form of verification before granting access.

This way, even if someone gets hold of user's password, they still can't get into user's account without the second verification step.

📘 Two-factor authentication is supported for the Platform and Manager mobile application.

🔔 By default this feature will be visible only for the administrators, users with unlimited rights and users with access to all modules.

You will find this section in Settings -> Two-factor authentication.

📘 If you do not have this option in your account yet, please contact your Client Project Manager or Mapon Client Support.
