How to link User and Driver profiles

There are two ways how you can link user and driver accounts and they are described bellow. Choose which is more suitable or convenient for you.

From the Drivers section

To link a user profile with a driver:

  1. Go to Driver management → Drivers.
    ​

  2. Click Edit next to the relevant driver to open the driver's profile settings.
    ​

  3. Switch to the 'User account' tab and mark the checkbox 'Link to user'.
    ​

  4. Select a user from the dropdown menu to link them to the current driver.
    ​

  5. Click SAVE to link them.

From the Users section

To link a driver profile with a user:

  1. Go to Settings → Users to open the user management section.
    ​

  2. Find the user in the list, and click the Edit button on the right side.
    ​

  3. In the pop-up window, go to the 'Profile settings' tab and find 'Linked driver'.
    ​

  4. In the dropdown list find and select the driver.
    ​

  5. Click SAVE to link user to the driver.

📘 After driver and user profiles are linked all rights are user based, including accessible vehicles.

📘 When the existing driver profile with access to the employee app is linked to a user, the user will have two options for login to the Employee application:

  • with user's e-mail + password;

  • with driver's e-mail + password.
