How can I check if a vehicle has fuel issues?
Updated this week

The Fuel Summary section works as a report of various refuelling data collected from different sources like the vehicle's CAN, fuel level sensors, and even the fuel amount refueled according to the fuel receipts uploaded to our system.

You will also see the normal consumption rate, the average consumption rate and the mileage that was driven according to the GPS. Simply go to Fuel ➑ Fuel Summary.

πŸ“˜ Here you will find all vehicles from your fleet even those that are not equipped with the devices for the fuel data reading.

πŸ“˜ The Petrol in the tank at the start of the period, can be edited for most vehicles, however, the Petrol in the tank at the end of the period, can only be edited for vehicles without devices for fuel data readings.
This data is necessary for the calculations of fuel consumption.

Stay Alert to Potential Issues at a Glance

Our system will be display some data with a red color to quickly show you there is some potential issues that may need your attention.

Data displayed in red indicate one of the following situations:

Compare CAN/Fuel Sensors with Fuel Receipts

In this section you can also compare the amount of fuel filled according to the CAN or fuel sensors and the fuel receipts to help you analyze if the amount of fuel bought was actually put into the tank.

  • Refueling in period (system): Amount of fuel filled according to the vehicle's CAN or from fuel sensors. You will see an icon that will tell you which of the two collected the data.

  • Refueling in period (receipts): Amount of fuel filled according to the fuel receipts that have been uploaded to our system.

  • Difference: This will tell you the difference in fuel amount between both sources.

Calculations

Calculations are based on vehicle mileage and fuel data entered with receipts or received from CAN and fuel sensors. If any of the mentioned data types are not available, the relevant average consumption won't be calculated and displayed.

Petrol consumption (receipt)

Fuel difference between the start and end period by fuel receipts against the driven mileage.

Petrol consumption (system)

Fuel difference between the start and end period by fuel sensors against the driven mileage.

Average consumption (CAN flow)

CAN flow data that has been received from the device.
