FAQ: Schmitz Cargobull
Updated yesterday

Why don’t I see some trailers on Mapon after activating the integration?

If you don’t see some trailers on Mapon after activating the Schmitz Cargobull integration, it could be due to data transmission delays. Trailers send data to Mapon only after their next event generation or data update from the TrailerConnect system. For moving trailers, data is sent maximum once in 15 minutes, while stationary trailers update up to once every 24 hours. Additionally, ensure that the trailers are correctly configured in TrailerConnect.

When will a trailer disappear from the map after deactivation?

After you confirm the deactivation of a trailer on Mapon, it will continue to appear on the map and in reports until the end of the day, then it will be removed after midnight.

Why isn’t Schmitz Cargobull integration showing up in the list?

If you don’t see the Integration subsection under Settings or the Schmitz Cargobull integration in the list, it could be due to two reasons:

  • Your profile may have restricted permissions for accessing some or all integrations: To resolve this, contact your company's Mapon account administrator or user with unlimited permissions to request the necessary permissions.

  • The integration hasn’t been added to your company’s Mapon account: In this case, you can reach out to your company's Mapon Client Project Manager or contact the Client Support Team to have the integration added.

What happens to a trailer on Mapon if it’s removed from my TrailerConnect account?

It will remain active on Mapon without receiving new data, meaning it will still be included in the subscription pack until you deactivate it from the Schmitz Cargobull integration side on Mapon.

Why isn’t my trailer information updating?

If your trailer information isn't updating, it might be due to the data sending intervals set between your company and Schmitz Cargobull. Updates depend on these intervals or when specific events occur.

For moving vehicles, updates can happen every 1 to 15 minutes, while stationary vehicles may update every 15 minutes to 24 hours. Keep in mind that update frequency and available data can also depend on the Schmitz Cargobull's telematics device installed in the trailer.
