You can also add an asset tag directly to a unit from the unit's settings page.
🔔 You can only link asset tags to units created from Asset Management with the type "NEW UNIT".
📘 You need to have the rights to access "Settings ➡ Asset tags".
📘 Vehicles/Units that already have a tracking device installed won't have the option to add an asset tag.
🔔 When a new asset tag is registered through this menu it is automatically registered as an Active asset tag.
Adding a new asset tag from here, will impact the invoice amount.
To add asset tags from the unit's settings:
Go to a unit's settings.
Go to the Asset tag tab.
Click the ADD NEW DEVICE button.
🔔 The button "ADD NEW DEVICE" is only available for those who have access to Asset tags in the Settings module.
Enter all the information about the asset tag.
Click the SAVE button at the bottom.
After this, the newly added asset tag will be displayed in the Saved tab of the Asset tags section.
