✅ If you're not already in a chat, simply click SEND NEW MESSAGE.
In the Messaging module, open the relevant tab for your chat on the left navigation bar: My Messages, Workspaces (and select or create a workspace), or SMS.
Click the messaging icon
and select 'Send new message'.
In the pop-up window, search for a recipient by user or driver.
Type your message and optionally attach files
and/or share a specific location 
.
Click the green arrow icon to send the message
. The new chat will appear on the left.
🔔 Keep in mind! Selecting multiple recipients will create separate chats with each, not a group chat.
