How to set up HU-GO Integration

Updated this week

Setup in Mapon

To set up HU-GO integration in Mapon:

  1. Go to Integrations → HU-GO toll system.

  2. Find the vehicle in the table or use the Search bar to locate the one you need to send data for to HU-GO.

  3. Click on the Register Car button and wait for the OBU ID and OBU PIN to be generated.

  4. Once OBU ID and PIN are created, register them in HU-GO and turn on the Data Forward switch.

✅ With Data Forward enabled, routes will be shared with HU-GO only when the vehicle is driving in Hungary.

🔔 Once you register your vehicle in the HU-GO toll system integration tab, there will be no option to unregister it. However, this is not a paid service and will not affect vehicle usage on the platform.

Setup in HU-GO

📘 If you don’t have a HU-GO account yet, please register your company account first.

To set up HU-GO integration with Mapon:

  1. Log in to your HU-GO account.

  2. Open Vehicles (if you have several payment accounts, select the necessary one to proceed to the vehicle list).

  3. Decide how you’ll proceed:

    • If the vehicle is already listed here, select it and click EDIT.

    • If the vehicle is not listed, click Vehicle at the top menu to add it.

  4. In the vehicle details screen (whether editing or adding), do the following:

    • Set the Category for axles (e.g., J2 = 2 axles, J3 = 3 axles, etc.).

🔔 Make sure the J-code matches the vehicle’s actual axle count—wrong categories can cause toll issues.

    • Enter the OBU ID and PIN (generated in your Mapon account).

🔔 Copy/paste OBU ID and PIN exactly (avoid extra spaces or characters).

  5. Review all fields and click SAVE.

📘 Watch your balance

  • Turn on low-balance and fine alerts in HU-GO.

  • Keep enough money for 3–4 days of driving.

  • Top up before long trips.

🚨 Monitor possible fines and keep vehicle info up to date

  • Regularly check your e-mail for potential fine alerts.

  • If you see a fine, make sure OBU ID/PIN, axle count, and plate are correct.

  • Update vehicle details after any change.
