What does each color and icon mean? — Tasks and routes

When opening the "Tasks and route planning" solution, (the "Tasks" tab on the Online Map), after planning some routes and tasks, you will see some icons that represent the types of tasks planned and some colors that represent their progress.


Colors

Colors for vehicle status

Each vehicle marker changes color and icon based on the vehicle's current status. This lets you check what's happening with your fleet just by glancing at the map.

Green

Driving

A green icon means the vehicle is currently driving.

Red

Stopped

A red icon means the vehicle is stopped.

Yellow

Ignition

A yellow icon means the vehicle is standing still with the ignition on.

Black

No data

A black icon means there's currently no incoming data from the device.

Gray

No GPS

A gray icon means the vehicle has no GPS signal right now.

Dark blue

Private

A dark blue icon means the vehicle is in private mode.

Purple

Service

A purple icon means the vehicle is marked as in for service.

Light blue

Charging

A light blue icon means the vehicle is currently charging.

Teal

Stationary

A teal icon means the vehicle is parked and hasn't moved for a while.

Colors for task status

The color of each task icon gives you a quick look at its progress:

  • ⬜ Grey – Completed task

  • 🟩 Green – Task in progress

  • 🟦 Blue – Upcoming or next task

Colors for route segments

Route segments on the map use the same colors as the task icons, with one addition:

  • ⬜ Grey: route segments that have been completed.

  • 🟩 Green: route segment currently in progress.

  • 🟨Yellow: this dashed line, shows the actual path taken by the vehicle (which updates in real time).

  • 🟦 Blue: remaining route segments that have not been completed yet.


Symbols

Apart from the colours, every task icon also has a unique design that makes it easy to quickly see which type of work is being done during this task:

Loading – Indicates cargo loading at a specified location.

Unloading – Indicates cargo unloading at a specified location.

Fuelling – Refers to a refuelling stop.

Driver change – Task where drivers are switched for the vehicle.

Trailer change – Task involving the exchange of trailers.

Hook off trailer – Disconnecting a trailer from the vehicle.

Hook on trailer – Connecting a trailer to the vehicle.

Resting – Scheduled driver rest period.

Ferry – Ferry transport segment in the route.

Train – Train transport segment in the route.

Border crossing – Crossing a national or regional border.


Additionally, for each vehicle, you may see some icons that represent some tachograph related data.
