To receive notifications when a switch changes state or when activity occurs inside/outside territories, follow these steps:
Go to
Alerts.
Click ADD NEW ALERT.
Under 'Other alerts', choose one:
Special equipment alert — notifies on basic ON/OFF state changes.
Special equipment usage outside/inside object — alerts when the switch is Active within/outside a selected Object (geofence).
Equipment time alert — notifies when a switch’s active time is approaching or exceeds the configured limit.
Configure vehicle(s), switch(es), object(s) (if applicable), thresholds, schedule, and recipients.
🔔 Depending on the alert type, select either a vehicle with switches mapped in CRM (by a Mapon representative) or choose a specific switch from the available list.
Click SAVE to start receiving notifications.
📘 The accessory switch is a universal, flexible feature. Any input you map as a switch — or any additional switch connected to the unit — can have its own name. The alert setup stays the same regardless of the label.
