When you use our AEMP integration to bring machine data into Mapon, the rate at which data updates is controlled by the machinery provider (OEM) — not by Mapon or the AEMP (ISO 15143-3) standard itself.
This means:
Machine telematics devices and providers determine how often data is sent. If the machine doesn’t send new data to the OEM’s telematics system, then it won’t appear in the AEMP feed.
Different OEMs have different update cadences. Some may send updates as often as every few minutes, while others update hourly or less frequently — this is based on how the provider’s systems are set up.
Your subscription with the machinery provider matters. Some OEM telematics subscriptions include more frequent or richer data updates, while lower-tier plans may only send updates less often or only support a subset of data points.
In short:
The AEMP integration pulls whatever data the machine’s telematics system has available — and how often new data appears depends on the manufacturer’s implementation and the telematics subscription you have with them.
✅ If you need a specific update frequency, please check what the OEM offers as part of your machine’s telematics subscription or contact your equipment provider for details.
