If one or more of your routes are marked as restricted or show an error, don’t worry — this usually means there is a road limitation, such as weight limits, height restrictions, or access rules. In this article, you’ll learn what you can do to solve this and continue planning your route without delays.
Route restrictions are highlighted directly on the map. You will see the affected part of the route marked in red, and the main restriction area will be shown with a red warning triangle icon
. This helps you quickly spot where the issue is.
Option 1. Modify the task
If the route is restricted, you can modify the task by updating the delivery address.
Simply edit the task, change the address details if needed, and save. The system will automatically recalculate the route based on the new information.
You can also adjust the route segment directly from the map. Select the affected route segment and move the path to avoid the restricted area.
This gives you more control and helps you quickly create a suitable alternative route.
Option 2. Assign a smaller vehicle
If the route shows vehicle restrictions, it means the assigned vehicle cannot safely or legally pass through part of the route (for example, due to weight, height, or width limits).
To resolve this, you can assign a smaller or more suitable vehicle to the task, that fits within the road limits. Smaller vehicles are often able to use restricted roads and complete the route without issues.
Option 3. Accept the restricted route
If you are sure the restriction does not apply, you can manually choose to accept the route anyway. This lets you keep the planned route and continue, even if a warning or restriction is shown.
Go to
Online Map and open the "Tasks" tab at the top.
Open the vehicle that contains the route with tasks.
On top of the route, on the warning, click the "Resolve" button.
Click the "Accept route restrictions" button.
After that, the route segment will be manually approved, and it will show a yellow checkmark icon
on the map; And if all issues on the route are resolved the route will also change to yellow.
