This column shows the type of location data a vehicle can support. It does not show the location data the vehicle sends at the moment.
Location capability values
🔔 The Location capability column shows the maximum location tracking capability of your vehicle, not necessarily the location updates you currently receive in our platform.
The location data you actually see in our platform depends on both your vehicle's capability and your subscription tier.
Live location | The vehicle supports location tracking while driving. Location data is collected approximately every 30 seconds and sent every 60 seconds, allowing you to follow the vehicle's movements in near real time. |
Location at stops | The vehicle can only provide its location when it stops and the ignition is switched off. This is a technical limitation set by the vehicle manufacturer. Upgrading your subscription cannot increase the location update frequency for this vehicle. |

How does your subscription affect location tracking?
Even if your vehicle supports Live location, the location updates you receive in our platform will depend on your subscription tier.
For example:
Your vehicle supports Live location, but your subscription only includes Location at stops: You will only see the vehicle's location when it stops. If you upgrade to a tier that includes Live location, you can receive more frequent updates.
Your subscription includes Live location, but your vehicle only supports Location at stops: You will only receive location updates when the vehicle stops. This is the maximum capability of the vehicle, so upgrading your subscription will not change it.
Your vehicle supports Live location and your subscription includes Live location: You can follow your vehicle's movements in near real time, with location data collected approximately every 30 seconds and sent every 60 seconds.

If you are receiving fewer location updates than expected, check your vehicle's Location capability and your subscription tier.
