The main purpose of the Drivers section is to link drivers to vehicles in order to analyze driver's actions and performance on a particular vehicle.
There are several ways to do this in Mapon. You can manually link a driver to a vehicle, trust your drivers to do it by themselves, or automate the authorization process.
There are the following types of driver assignment on Mapon:
manually through the WEB platform by the Mapon user;
by receiving data from the tachograph;
using a physical device like RFID (Radio-frequency identification) card or chip (iButton) and reader that is connected to a tracking device.
🚨 Using multiple types of authorization for drivers in vehicles will result in incorrect authorization and displaying the wrong driver in the route history.
✅ If you have faced a situation where the incorrect driver was registered, you can adjust driver in the report called 'Routes'.
