How can employees/drivers edit their work activities?
Updated this week

In the Worktime solution, employees can track their work activities, but in case an employee makes a mistake, they can also edit them directly from the Mapon Driver app.

Managers will later see if an activity was edited by an employee and choose whether or not they want to keep the changes or keep the original as it was.

Employees editing

Employees/drivers can edit a tracked work activity, in the Mapon Driver app, by clicking on the pencil icon on that specific activity.

They are able to edit the 'From' and 'To' times, the Work status, the Project, the Client as well as add some Notes related to the changes, to include relevant details or context, for the manager to read on the platform while they review them.

📘 In cases where the employee/driver goes across different borders, the timezone will be based on the companies' timezone.

🔔 Worktime activities cannot overlap, make sure the times are not the same as another worktime activity. Also, remember the 'From' time must be before 'To' time.

🚨 It's not possible to edit worktimes without an internet connection.

Check if an employee edited an activity

After an employee has edited an activity from the Mapon Driver app, their manager will be able to view if there were any changes made, from the web platform on the Overview tab of the Worktime solution.

The days with some changes made will be marked with a red circle.

Approve or Reject

When you click the red circle indicating edited work times, a pop-up window will appear.

The left side shows the Original times, and the right side displays the employee's Edited times.

✅ If the name of the client, address, project or comment are too long to see, hover over them with your cursor to see them fully as a "tool tip".

To approve the changes made by an employee, click on the Approve button located at the bottom of the pop-up window. If you wish to reject the changes, click on Decline instead.

This action will complete the review process of the submitted modifications and will be reflected on the Worktime Overview.
