How can I keep track of the maintenance of my fleet?
Updated over a month ago

On the Mapon platform we offer your a variety of helpful solutions:

  • Vehicle Inspections: Create inspection plans for your drivers and field workers to check your vehicles, directly from the Mapon Go app.

  • Repair costs: Add and keep track of all your vehicle repair expenses in a single place.

  • Service reminders: Add reminders to repair damages or keep track of maintenance services for your fleet.

Each of these solutions can be used on its own, but they work even better together!

By combining them, you’ll have a complete system to keep your fleet's vehicles in top condition while easily tracking maintenance schedules, and costs.

How they can work together

  1. Make Vehicle inspection plans.

  2. The drivers or field workers will inspect the vehicles according to the plans.

  3. If something doesn't pass the inspection they will be marked as 'damages'.

  4. If fixing the 'damages' presents an expense, they can be linked on Repair costs.

  5. To remember to fix the 'damage', you can set up a Service reminder.

Costs and services from 'Vehicle Inspections'

Press on the plus icon to add repair costs (this can be done from the repair costs section as well).

If this damage is something that needs to be done, you can add when this service is planned to be done.

You will see a green wrench icon to indicate there is a date setup for this service, for this 'damage'.

🔔 This will not create a reminder in the Service reminders solution; it will only indicate that the service is already planned for a certain date. (Click here to learn how to setup a service reminder from there).
